Supreme Court rejects Alabama request to review state’s anti-immigrant law

Last year, the Federal Court blocked Alabama’s attempt to criminalize acts of kindness to unlawful immigrants. The court ruled that states could not enact anti-immigration laws criminalizing every day activities like giving a neighbor a ride to work or to go to church.

Supreme Court decided not to re-open this decision when they refused Alabama’s appeal of this decision.
